For two years he worked as an extra and received a meager salary for this, but he did not change his decision.

In the 1920s-1930s. Mikhail Zharov was already a well-known theatrical actor, but real popularity came to him after the role of the thief Zhigan in the film "Start to Life". At first, he did not agree to this role, not understanding why the director sees him in the form of a swindler and a murderer. To which he replied: "". But the second marriage was not happy either - Zharov's two children died as babies. And in 1943 on the set of the film "Air Carrier" he met a woman who became fatal for him. It was a young actress Lyudmila Tselikovskaya, and according to the plot, they were supposed to play a couple in love. No one imagined that they would have to play these roles in real life. Despite the 20-year age difference and the fact that both had families, they soon became a couple.

For the sake of his third wife, Mikhail Zharov was ready for anything, but she acted with him the same way he once did with his first wife. The actress fell in love with another and left the family.
