The charm of spring
Eldar Ryazanov met his first wife Zoya Fomina while studying at VGIK. He noticed a sweet and very serious girl in a student company. And I fell in love. In 1951, a daughter, Olya, was born in the family, and the Ryazanovs moved to a friend's dacha. The young spouse was very rarely at home, trying to provide his family with all the essentials. He went to shoot all over the country. And just as in his student years, he wrote very detailed, very gentle letters to his beautiful wife. He described to her the cities he visited, the people that he met on his way.
Eldar and Zoya grew up in the profession together, worked, studied, and always rested only together. Zoya Fomina was for him the bright charm of youth and spring. But sometimes it happens that love ends. Unfortunately, this spring is over too. More and more often, quarrels arose in the family, the abyss of misunderstanding between the once loving people was growing. They parted, just a little short of the silver wedding. Both endlessly suffering from the pain inflicted on the other.
There was only one thread that connected them: daughter Olya, the fruit of their beautiful passionate love. With her, Eldar Aleksandrovich always maintained warm relations, adored tinkering with his grandson Mitya, helped in everything.
The sonorous song of summer
And then summer came. A sultry, mature, mature romance between a director and editor. By this time, Ryazanov had already moved from documentary to feature cinema.
Nina Grigorievna Skuybina was widowed several years before meeting with Eldar Alexandrovich. Her husband, director Vladimir Skuybin, died at 34 after a severe illness, during which all muscles gradually atrophied. And Nina remained his indispensable assistant until the last second, because he could not even turn his head on his own.
Nina began to raise her son alone and did not hope to meet new love on her way. But the fateful meeting took place during the filming of Beware of the Car. The entire film crew watched the director's unprecedented transformation. He sparkled with happiness, his eyes sparkled with an unprecedented brilliance, he was again in love and unusually happy. Nina, his Ninochka, answered him in return.
Many tried to accuse the woman of becoming Ryazanov's slave. In fact, she was destined for a completely different role, the role of the inspiring Muse. It was in marriage with Nina that the best films of the Master were created. She was his first critic, adviser, assistant. Nina Grigorievna never worked in her husband's team, but in fact she helped him always and in everything. The enamored director, in the presence of his Muse, realized one idea after another. To shoot the film "Promised Heaven" he was helped by the son of Ninochka, who by that time had also become a director
She was always there at the right time. If Nina Grigorievna saw that Eldar Aleksandrovich was about to explode, she simply handed him a sandwich, which she had in her purse for just such an occasion. And a big man from a formidable boss turned into a contented life and a very gentle man.
The death of his Muse was a huge tragedy for the director. They lived in a happy marriage for 22 years, sharing in two both triumphant victories and creative disappointments. However, a terrible illness did not spare his beloved. Eldar Alexandrovich fought cancer until the last minute. He took his wife to the best clinic in Munich. However, it was all in vain. Nina Grigorievna died. Until the last days, a portrait of Ninochka hung in the master's office. He dedicated his book "Unsummed Results" to her.
Autumn melody
Emma Valerianovna Abaidulina first appeared in his life in 1987, when she interviewed the famous director. Several times fate pitted them against each other, but the meetings were fleeting.
The second time she came to meet him in 1995, to stay in her forever. Eldar Alexandrovich at this time had not yet come to his senses after the death of his wife, he was madly sad and tormented by loneliness. Emma Valerianovna was twice divorced and had two adult and completely independent sons.
She pulled the director out of the abyss of depression, helped him get back on his feet, became not just a wife, a friend. Light, cheerful, perky, she gave him the strength to live. She began to look after him, made him diet soups and took him to the hospital, walked with him and helped in everything. Emma always told the great master to hold on to her with all his might. For love has worked wonders. And Ryazanov began to come to life, his eyes shone again, a happy smile played on his lips again.
Age and numerous illnesses prevented him from leading an active lifestyle. But there was Emma nearby, who did not let him lose heart. She was always there, always came to the rescue, she became the official editor of his film "The Key to the Bedroom". And unofficially - his guardian angel, who gave him happiness over the past 20 years. Great life of the Great Master.
Three women were in his destiny. Three lifetimes. His three loves. And each was for him a Gift from heaven. And for each he was able to become the center of the universe. An ingenious director, a man with a capital letter.
