December 23 marks 82 years of one of the most beautiful actresses of theater and cinema, People's Artist of the RSFSR Natalya Fateeva … Despite the bright appearance and attention of thousands of fans, she was left alone. According to the actress, all her marriages lasted about five years, and she doomed herself to such "five years".
The first time she got married while studying at the Kharkov Theater Institute, for one of her many admirers - Leonid Tarabarinov. The marriage did not last long, the actress herself does not like to talk about the reasons. She divorced her husband and left to conquer Moscow.
Fateeva not only easily entered the VGIK, but was also enrolled in the workshop of S. Gerasimov immediately in the 4th year - for the first time in the history of the institute. After graduation, she played in the theater, but real popularity came to her after filming a movie. Her debut was the role in the film "There is such a guy" in 1956. For the sake of filming, and also because of a new marriage and the birth of a child, Fateeva left the theater.
Her second husband was the most talented actor and director Vladimir Basov. He invited the young actress to his picture "The Case at Mine Eight", after filming they got married, and a year later they had a son. The 11-year age difference did not become an obstacle for the spouses, but other problems arose: Basov was painfully jealous of his wife - both to the fans and to success.
Fateeva confessed: “As a girl, I had to pull the house on my shoulders, support my family, take care of the child. Basov often sat out of work and fought depression in the favorite Russian way - vodka. There was no one to leave my son to - very often I had no time for rehearsals. Nevertheless, the actress is grateful to Basov for the fact that he taught her a lot in life and tempered her character.
Soon after her divorce from Basov, Natalya Fateeva starred in a film that brought her all-Union popularity - the comedy "Three plus two". During the filming, she had an affair with her partner on the set, Andrei Mironov, about whom the actress always remembered fondly: “He was a wonderful friend and warmed my soul after a hard break with Basov. Andrei did not have much life experience then, did not know how to look after, but I am grateful to him for his warmth and sincerity."
The complete opposite of the sincere and romantic Mironov was her next lover, Mikhail Lyubimov, with whom they lived for several years in a civil marriage. “Lyubimov was distinguished by his secrecy and sullenness. As it turned out after the breakup, it was in those years that Mikhail was … a resident of Soviet intelligence. It turns out that even with me he had no right to relax, and I did not feel protected next to him,”said the actress.
Once at a party, Fateeva met the 30-year-old cosmonaut Boris Egorov. He was married, but left his wife and young son for the sake of the actress. At first, he courted beautifully, but after the wedding, all the romance suddenly ended. As it turned out, the spouses had completely different priorities: Egorov could talk for hours about cars and was not at all interested in Fateeva's life.
The birth of a daughter did not save this union. “We didn’t understand each other at all,” Fateeva recalls, “but I did not expect that when I started to go out of my way to save my family, he would just turn around and go to another!”. And the other turned out to be her partner in the film "Three plus two" Natalia Kustinskaya. Since then, the girlfriends have become bitter enemies and have not forgiven each other even 20 years later, when Yegorov left Kustinskaya after a serious operation.
The actress steadfastly accepted her failures in her personal life and even sarcastically about this: “I have a bad taste for men, I always chose the wrong ones. All of my marriages have been about the same length of time. I love it for three years, I endure it for two years - this is the scenario. Five-year plan, everything is Soviet style."
After that, Natalya Fateeva had novels, she married twice more - to an architect and a furrier, but everything happened according to the same scenario of "five-year plans". For a long time she did not give up hope of meeting the person with whom she could live until the end of her days, but these dreams never came true. “So, it used to be, I walk down the street and think: what is it, crowds of admirers, but the only one who will support in difficult times, no…”, - the actress admits.
She still looks great, but she says that beauty has always interfered with her in relationships with men. Fateeva regrets these mistakes: “Most often it turned out that my betrothed needed me for self-affirmation. As a beautiful addition to their comfortable existence. These divorces cost me my life and health."
During the filming of one of the most popular films with Fateeva - "Three plus two" - there were a lot of curiosities: how the summer comedy was filmed.
