The actor and his hero had a lot in common: Fyodor Dunaevsky was just as stubborn, wayward and arrogant. He allowed himself to give advice to more experienced actors, tried to alter his lines, refused to put on the costumes prepared for him. For him, as well as for his hero, there were no authorities. True, the circumstances that influenced the formation of his character also in many ways resembled the situation with the hero of the film: his parents also divorced when he was 14 years old. After the 8th grade, Fedor got a job as an orderly at a hospital. Then he studied at a medical school and moonlighted as a janitor and a night watchman. For some time he worked as an ambulance paramedic.
In 1988, Dunaevsky played the main role in the film Dear Elena Sergeevna, in the early 1990s. - a few more cameo roles in films, and then disappeared from the screens. As it turned out, the actor went to Germany, then to Israel. There he worked as a bartender and waiter until he met Mikhail Kozakov, who invited him to work at the Tel Aviv Chamber Theater. Then Fedor went to the radio, and after a while he returned to Moscow. I tried to do business, again looked for my place in the cinema. In 2012 he starred in several films. Now Fyodor Dunaevsky is 48 years old. According to the latest information, he is living in Israel again.
Several actresses also auditioned for the role of Katya in The Courier, among whom were Irina Apeksimova, Marina Zudina, Yulia Menshova, Alika Smekhova, Oksana Fandera, Alena Khmelnitskaya and others, but Shakhnarazov chose Anastasia Nemolyaeva, the daughter of cameraman Nikolai Nemolyaev and the niece of the famous actress Svetlana Nemolyaeva.
