2024 Author: Richard Flannagan | [email protected]. Last modified: 2023-12-15 23:55
When they say about an artist that he is burning on stage, this is considered the highest praise. But some are so devoted to their work that, unfortunately, they burn to the ground. This review presents famous personalities who have practically disappeared on the stage.
Andrey Mironov
On that tragic day, August 14, 1987 Andrey Mironov once again brilliantly performed his role in the production of "Crazy Day, or The Marriage of Figaro." Already at the very end of the performance, Mironov suddenly began to sink, leaning against the gazebo, and instead of a remark, he said to Alexander Shirvindt, also involved in the comedy: "Shura, my head hurts …" As it turned out later, Andrei Alexandrovich had a massive brain hemorrhage. Doctors showed Mironov's wife an X-ray, which showed a rupture at the base of the skull. Two days after the tragedy, it was decided to disconnect it from the artificial life support apparatus.
Vitaly Solomin
To the most beloved Doctor Watson of the Soviet Union, Vitaly Solomin, it became bad during the play "Krechinsky's Wedding" on April 2, 2002. When the curtain fell after the first act, the actor fell and was unable to utter a word. Colleagues remember only his look as if with a mute question: "Why me?" When Solomin was brought to the Sklifosovsky hospital, the doctors diagnosed him with a microstroke. However, the actor did not get any easier. And when they finally decided to perform craniotomy, it was already too late.
Igor Talkov
Death overtook Igor Talkov not on the stage, but rather at the stage. The murder of the singer happened due to a quarrel between his concert director Valery Shlyafman and the bodyguard of the singer Aziza Igor Malakhov. There are a lot of "blank spots" in this story, since the murder weapon has not been found and the crime has not been solved. The singer died on October 6, 1991.
Alexander Barykin
"Physical shell" Alexandra Barykina could not stand it right during a tour in Orenburg on March 25, 2011. The singer had a heart attack. The singer was able to finish singing the song to the end and went to the dressing room. There he passed out. In the hospital, Barykin underwent surgery, but to no avail, he died the next morning.
Darrell Abbott
An American musician, founder of Pantera and Damageplan, Darrell Abbott (Darrell Abbott). An aggressive-minded man started shooting during a concert, and a musician became one of the 6 victims. He died on December 8, 2004.
Mikhail Gluzsky
Mikhail Gluzsky better known to the older generation for the films "Quiet Don", "Prisoner of the Caucasus". Shortly before his death, the actor was in hospital, but for the sake of a role in the play "The Seagull", he left the ward and on June 14, 2001 went to the stage. The actor was applauded. He got up to bow, and when the curtain closed Gluzsky fell and could no longer rise. He died a few hours after the incident.
Miriam Makeba
Famous South African singer Miriam Makeba (Myriam makeba) was known all over the world as "Mama Africa". She had a heart attack just when the singer performed her famous hit "Pata Pata". On November 9, 2008, Miriam Makeba passed away without regaining consciousness. They say that it is better not to play in some performances, otherwise life could be the cost 10 productions that led to tragedy in real life - a real confirmation of this.

How stage satire survived in Soviet censorship, and artists managed to come up with masterpiece jokes
It was not easy to joke from the stage in the USSR. As for the pop spoken genre, the list of permitted topics was strictly regulated at the highest level. If the will of the first leaders had been, satire would have been banned altogether. At least, attempts to minimize the influence of objectionable satirists on the viewer as much as possible have been made more than once. But the viewer wanted to laugh, and the authorities had to look for ways that would be safe for their images. And what is surprising, in the conditions of total ideological control of the Soviet
