Johnny Perry learned jewelery from his father, and then he owned his own store, J&M Jewelers, for 23 years. But the coronavirus pandemic turned out to be disastrous for business, and the jeweler decided to close the store. Johnny Perry could take all the unsold goods for himself and retire with his wife. But the notorious spirit of adventurism made the couple turn their own retirement into an adventure, to which they now invite everyone to participate.

When the coronavirus pandemic forced Johnny Perry to close his store, he suddenly realized that he had never been happy in his job. On the one hand, he liked to run his own business, but on the other hand, he always lacked new impressions and emotions.

While in forced self-isolation, the jeweler came across an article about Forrest Fenn's treasure chest. The former art dealer and collector hid treasures worth about two million dollars in the mountains, published a poem in the newspaper that was supposed to be the key to finding the treasure. Not so long ago, this treasure was found.

A Michigan jeweler admitted that he himself dreamed of finding a bronze chest in the Rocky Mountains, but he always did not have enough time to go hunting for treasure. Forrest Fenn's idea turned out to be very close to him. He, too, wanted to get people to get off the couch and go in search of adventure. Johnny Perry decided to stir up people himself, sending them in search of treasures.

The jeweler shared the idea with his bride, who warmly supported the groom, and then together they went to fulfill their plans. They began to travel throughout the state in search of the most inaccessible and secluded places for treasure. Their journey lasted four months, during which they passed through forests and rivers, streams, mountains and waterfalls. They buried the entire J&M Jewelers jewelry store in different places and even managed to become husband and wife.

As Johnny Perry said in his interview, there are treasures in various caches in the amount of four thousand dollars, and the total value of all treasures is estimated at one million. If Forrest Fenn published free tips for everyone, then the Michigan jeweler decided to arrange quests with ticket sales for participants.

Perry now sells tickets for $ 49 and $ 59 per mission for episodes leading to different parts of his treasure. Each ticket gives the participant several clue keys that can lead the treasure hunter to the coveted treasure.

To date, four quests have already been announced, starting on August 1, 15, 30 and September 13. Participants in the first adventure will be able to find two 999 pure silver bars weighing 2 kilograms 835 grams (100 ounces) each. Treasure hunters who purchase tickets for the second quest can receive a prize consisting of silver bars and silver coins. The first two treasures each cost approximately $ 4,200, while the last two quests will lead to $ 7,000 worth of treasures.

Each quest is open to 500 people, and tickets for the first three are already sold out. As of mid-July 2020, there are still vacancies as of September 13th.

When asked why Johnny Perry started all this, he replies that he could sell all the jewelry he has and quietly retire, but would that be fun? The jeweler wanted families across the country to experience the adventure of a lifetime and receive a well-deserved reward. Together with each treasure, a GPS tracker was laid, so the adventure organizer will be aware of the treasure's movements. The quest organizer hopes that the search for each prize will take the participants no more than a week.

He himself intends to receive a small income from ticket sales, which will allow Johnny Perry to support his family. He is already looking forward to the start of the treasure race. And he adds: he is not crazy at all. It was just that during the quarantine he was bored. Johnny Perry believes that giving people adventure is giving them something to believe in, because the coronavirus pandemic drove so many people into depression and deprived them of hope for the future. And his quests will give hope and allow you to experience the most vivid impressions in life.

It is worth noting that Johnny Perry is not so selfless in his desire to give people the adventure of a lifetime. With an average cost of each treasure of $ 5,600 and a total of $ 1 million, you can calculate: there should be about 178 hidden treasures. If 500 tickets for $ 50 are sold for each tour, then the collection amount for one adventure will be $ 25,000. Simple calculations show: in this situation, a jeweler from Michigan will be able to receive an income of 3.44 million.

Ten years ago, Forest Fenn hid a treasure worth about two million US dollars in the Rocky Mountains and announced a hunt for it. Fenn encoded the location of the treasure chest in a poem of his own composition. Not so long ago, a millionaire received a call from a man who said that he had found his treasure. Who and where found the treasures, because of the search for which five people died?
