Adults should protect children from difficulties in life, make their childhood as happy and carefree as possible. However, sometimes everything happens exactly the opposite. And people who should become a guarantor of safety for a child turn into a real children's nightmare. This is what photographer Erik Ravelo wanted to tell in his pictures.
In an unusual collection, he touched upon the most common problems that children face as they grow up. This is the threat of obesity during the propaganda of fast food, and constant cases of pedophilia in Catholic churches, and the sale of minors to black markets for organs.
The photographer hopes that the photographs can awaken consciousness in adults, as well as vigilance in parents. Indeed, very often mothers believe that such a misfortune will not affect them, so they do not prepare their children for extreme situations at all. While absolutely no one is immune from such incidents. And children can be relatively safe only in the womb. And even then not always.
