Culturology. RF has already written about the graceful, skillful, multifaceted work of the contemporary artist Elsa Mora, and more than once. So, it was about the thinnest paper paintings of the author, and about flower people made of petals and blades of grass, and today - again about a paper masterpiece, but with a philosophical bias. How does human fear work out? Elsa Mora spoke about her in the Forest of Fears art project.
Fear floods us headlong, turns every cell into a frightened part of one whole. "One whole", in the sense of a person - in the mind of Elsa Mora - a forest, dense and dark. And fear is two little people who got lost in it and shout at each other. One person is bad and the other is good. So they walk …
Skillfully wielding scissors and mastering the technique of cutting out complex objects from paper, Elsa Mora portrayed her fear on paper. The forest is a multi-layered silhouette covered with leaves and twigs, and among them are two white human figures. Who will find whom first? If good is bad, then fear will disappear more often. If on the contrary, it will grow with renewed vigor.
Probably, the idea for this art project to Elsa More was also prompted by her little autistic son. At one time, it was he who inspired the artist to create an art project and a book about flower people. You can see this project and many other works of the author on her website.

Symbiosis of forest and human creation: Ta Prohm monastery complex
The grandiose monastery complex Ta Prohm, located in Cambodia, literally merged with the surrounding rainforest: huge trees, whose height sometimes exceeds 40 meters, break through the dilapidated buildings to the sky. Such a unique cultural monument did not appear as a result of devastation - at one time the temple was deliberately left by its inhabitants at the mercy of the jungle
Human cubs are human cubs. Cubs photo project by Oleg Dou
How was it in the song from the radio play "Alice in Wonderland"? If they call a piggy out loud, from the cradle, baiushki-baiu, even the most humble child will turn into a pig in the future. And a Moscow photo artist named Oleg Dou can turn any child into a pig, a monkey, a fawn, a mouse or a bunny, one has only to arm himself with his photograph. Human cubs, or human cubs? About this - the personal exhibition of the photographer, which is called "Cubs & q
Buddhist Forest: What Really Happens in a Japanese Sculpture Park That Fears Tourists
Photos of this quaint park filled with many stone sculptures appear periodically on the Internet and are invariably accompanied by comments that this is a very scary place. The Japanese park (or rather, the forest, of which there are even two) is somewhat reminiscent of either a cemetery or the Chinese terracotta army. Nearby residents add fuel to the fire, assenting to tourists: they say, yes, all this is very creepy. In fact, the history of this place is not at all scary, but naive and romantic
Elsa Mora and her finely crafted paper creative
Nature is the best artist. Remember what an incredible color there are clouds and sunsets, dawn and pre-storm skies … Not to mention what a delicate work - snowflakes, these little cold masterpieces. The most skillful heavenly master carves them from the thinnest layer of ice … And the artist Elsa Mora echoes this master from the earth, cutting out of paper - no, not snowflakes, but other masterpieces, which will be discussed today
