People who create graffiti, even the most mediocre ones, call their work art. In order to demonstrate what it really is, a group of Japanese engineers and artists created an unusual robot with the name Senseless Drawing Bot 2, which can easily replace the vast majority of those who paint with spray paint on walls and fences.

Unfortunately, not all graffiti artists can boast of their talent. That is why walls and fences in any modern city are painted with incomprehensible squiggles, paintings without a plot and at least some artistic merit.

And even the "creativity" of the Senseless Drawing Bot 2 robot, created by the Japanese So Kanno and Takahiro Yamaguchi, often surpasses the quality of the work of these street artists from the plow.

At the same time, Senseless Drawing Bot 2 does not have any special programs for rendering meaningful images. On the contrary, the whole process of creating graffiti in it happens completely by accident. The robot rides on wheels along a wall or fence and randomly sprinkles paints of various colors on a vertical surface.

The Senseless Drawing Bot 2 is equipped with a double pendulum, the swinging of which allows it to move its sprayers.

I must say that the "art" from Senseless Drawing Bot 2 to a person who does not know exactly how they were created may well seem to be works of artists in the style of graffiti. Of course, these are not masterpieces of street art, but most of the "paintings" on the walls of houses look much worse than the works of the above-mentioned Japanese robot.
