As you know, the rules are created in order to be broken, and, as it turned out, the rules of the road are no exception. French artist Clet Abraham decided to amuse the inhabitants of Florence and created a whole series of road signs, giving the usual images a whimsical and sometimes piquant look.
"Transformation" of road signs takes place at night: Klet attaches special stickers to them or draws the necessary details, which can immediately significantly change what is depicted. Of course, "adjustments" in no way interfere with the correct "reading" of the road sign, so as not to cause an emergency on the road.
Despite the peaceful nature of the creative artist's activities, the authorities still fine him from time to time for hooliganism. Once, Cletu had to pay 400 euros during another night raid. Although, in fairness, we note that the signs remain hanging on the streets of the city, no one takes them off.
It is pleasant to note that the cheerful (for the most part) road signs performed by Clet Abraham carry a sincere positive charge, which compares favorably with the depressive signs created by the New York art group TrustoCorp (we have already written about their work earlier on our website Cultorologiya.ru).
Speaking about his work, Clet Abraham admits that he got the idea to create such unusual drawings when he realized that, in addition to being informative, familiar road signs can also carry an aesthetic value, which means that they can develop the thinking of motorists … or at least cheer them up … The theme of religion is often the source of inspiration for Clelet of Abraham. The first sticker he created was dedicated to Jesus Christ, later he made pictures of the Virgin Mary and Mary Magdalene.
By the way, all sorts of interpretations of symbols can pursue not only an entertainment purpose, but also a social one. For example, the Brazilian advertising agency Filadelfia has launched a whole social campaign against drunken driving using the same road signs that are familiar to us.

Toyazda and Volksubishi: new car models + creative reminder of traffic rules
A bearded anecdote about new car models - "Zaporozhets" and "Pezhorozhets" - suddenly surfaced in New Zealand. On creative posters, brands also united, so to speak, according to an anecdotal principle: two cars of different brands collided. As a result, cars-chimeras were formed: "Nissbaru", "Toyazda" and "Volksubishi". In general, who followed whom, he merged with that. A creative project playing with car brands should remind drivers of the Rules of the Road
"Book traffic" on the roads of Melbourne. Luzinterruptus' intelligent Literature VS Traffic installation
Thousands of firefly books flooded the street in Melbourne, blocking pedestrians and motorists from passing. They seemed to soundlessly cry out to those around them: stop, do not rush, think, look through the book! With such an unusual installation called Literature VS Traffic, the creative group Luzinterruptus attracted the attention of city residents to reading
A creative approach to divorce: a man honestly divided all property in exactly half
By law, a divorcing couple must share their joint property 50/50. One man in Germany decided this was a fair demand. And when his wife, who cheated on him and left for another, demanded her half, the man in the truest sense of the word divided all things in half. A set of chairs, a TV, a car, even a teddy bear - everything was carefully cut exactly in the middle
Without a license and not observing traffic rules: Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain still drives a car at 91
From time to time, the British witness how Queen Elizabeth II cuts through the roads of the country on her Jaguar. Of course, in most cases, especially when it comes to some big events, the queen is brought in a car driven by a chauffeur. However, on more casual trips, the queen is able to get by on her own. Even though she is already 91 years old. And even though the queen still doesn't have a driver's license
