Like, for example, Israeli artist and designer Yoav Kotik, who presented his collection of jewelry from ordinary caps.
Yoav Kotik gives a second life to those things that are usually considered trash and thrown away. With his work, the Tel Aviv-based artist proves that the value of jewelry does not necessarily depend on the cost of the material from which it is created. The Israeli artist and designer has collected a huge number of discarded beer and soda bottle caps, as well as many cans, which he later turned into cute, beautiful and colorful rings, earrings, brooches, pendants and necklaces.
Everyone can afford very inexpensive jewelry. Although they are distributed from bottle caps, they look quite original and cool, and are suitable for many types of youth clothing. For example, why not show off a Coca-Cola bracelet or a Heineken necklace and ring, Fanta earrings?
Yoav Kotik, who graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, sees his mission as changing people's vision to what they consider to be rubbish and bringing them a new fashion trend.
