She was taken to the theater, and for ten years she worked exclusively in extras, although in other theaters she could well play the main roles from the very beginning.
She has already starred in "Criminal Talent", "Hostage", "Formula of Love", but in the theater she still played the fourth maid of honor in the background in "Troubadour and Her Friends". And then not even her father, but Gleb Panfilov offered her the first significant role, Ophelia in Hamlet.
Later she began to play in her father's performances, became the leading actress of Lenkom and was able to prove her right to her chosen profession. Colleagues of the actress note that Alexandra Zakharova is very talented, she never complains and goes on stage in any condition, even if she has to overcome pain.
Her father was always more demanding and stricter with her than with other actors, and Alexandra Markovna tried not to let him down. In his notes, she found not just a detailed description of each scene, but his kind of "storyboard". And she solved this puzzle in order to understand how Mark Zakharov himself saw the performance.
Colleagues supported the daughter of the great director as best they could. Everyone understood that the actress had never been involved in productions, but she was closest to Mark Zakharov and understood him like no one else. At rehearsals, they listened to her almost unquestioningly. And Alexandra Markovna herself felt the invisible help of her father. On December 2, 2019, the premiere of the play "Trap" took place, as planned by Mark Anatolyevich.
The life of Alexandra Zakharova continues. Of the 26 repertoire performances of "Lenkom" she plays in six, she is not invited to the cinema, as the actress herself says, due to the fact that she herself once refused to participate in projects, preferring the theater stage to cinema.
