An original idea and stunning execution by an American artist Andy diaz hope in his art project called Better Living … In order to draw public attention to the problems of drug addiction and dependence on drugs, as well as to criticize pharmaceutical companies, he created a whole series of strange and at the same time amazing installation paintings, painted directly on gelatin capsules and pills of various drugs. Initially, this art project was perceived as a hobby, a non-standard hobby, but over time, an unexpected turn took place in it and it expanded significantly. And the main impetus was the advertising slogan of the world leader of the chemical industry DuPont: "Better things for a better life … thanks to chemistry." This is where the name of the art project originates and all subsequent paintings on medications that the author exhibits in modern art galleries or brings as part of a creative exhibition dedicated to a healthy lifestyle, the fight against drug addiction and similar vices and ulcers on the body of society.
Of course, pills and gelatin capsules are not the only materials from pharmacies and hospitals that the author works with. We've already written about another similar project once - a Trinity chandelier made of gel capsules, hypodermic needles, colored tablets and Swarovski crystals that hang from the needles. Moreover, the red crystals on the needle resemble drops of blood. The view is incredibly creepy, I must admit, but in war all means are good.
