If you really think about it, which forest is the tallest in the worldthen surely remember American sequoias and Australian eucalyptus. But in reality the most tall forest located in Europe, in Milan. Or, at least, it will be, because its construction is not finished yet. Meet: the reincarnation of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon - Bosco Vertical Forest
Amazing Bosco Verticale towers, which are being erected by Milanese architects right now - well, very tall forestthat can get along with the city. And all because it is vertical. The tower, covered with hundreds of terraces, from the inside is a residential building, and from the outside it looks like a kind of ecological obelisk. Talking about how much oxygen per day such a tower will be able to emit per unit area, the chief architect of the project, Stefano Boeri, cannot hold back the sparkle in his eyes.
The project involves the construction of two towers, 115 and 72 meters high. By the way, the tallest tree in the world (this is a sequoia) is also 115 meters tall. And all the same, the Milanese forest will be higher - because the tops of the highest-planted trees will surely outgrow the roof.
But even if the Milanese forest was not the highest, all the same, he is a long-awaited evidence that a man and a tree can live side by side. I would like to believe that in our lifetime smoky and dirty big cities will turn into such vertical forests. At least in Milan, the construction of the towers has already begun, and in the future they are going to erect 27 more similar buildings.

The tallest sand castle in the world: sculpture-record holder Ed Gerrett
Sand castles are too short-lived, and building them is the same as building air ones? Sculptor Ed Gerrett disagrees. From year to year, he sets new altitude records and creates real masterpieces of beach architecture - though not from the beach, but from the so-called coarse-grained sand, which sticks together much better. The last project of the master - a beautiful 11.5-meter sand castle with man-made dragons, lions and chains
