Blooming fragrant trees and bushes, flower beds and glades constantly attract a huge number of insects, tender plants that are greedy for fragrant sweetness. When you approach a tree, there is a buzzing and fluttering from there, like butterflies, beetles and bees from all over the world flocked to enjoy this enchanting smell of magnolia flowers. Therefore, it is not surprising that the photo artist Kari Herer combined beetles and magnolias in her work. Obviously, Kari Herer loves summer and flowers just like any other girl. But she, apparently, does not like beetles, otherwise why portray them in the form of charming magnolia flowers? However, not quite so: magnolias are just an addition to Kari's drawings. Their main decoration, the main plot.
So, at first, the girl draws paws and antennae, eyes and tails with ink, and only their abdomen and wings are flower-petal, fragrant and very delicate. Who knows, maybe after these works, some readers will cease to be afraid and dislike beetles and other insects - you just have to imagine them in the image presented by Kari Herer, and dislike will be removed as if by hand.
However, in addition to illustrations of insects, Kari Herer draws on the missing elements to other colors, but she loves magnolias with special love.
What is it, drawings, applique, photography, collage? Let fans of the amazing works of Kari Herer, who purchase her paintings from the online store Etsy, figure it out. True, there is far from the entire collection of flower-beetle paintings, because how many beautiful flowers and unusual insects are there in the world!
