"Dot, dot, comma - a curve came out …" Remember the lines from a nursery rhyme? It turns out that with the help of dots alone, you can draw not only a funny face, but also serious pictures. The work of Australian artist Dan Sibley is a prime example of this.

In fairness, it should be noted that Dan Sibley did not invent the unusual way of drawing on his own. "Dot painting", which can be translated as "dot painting" - is a unique painting technique of Australian aborigines. Its essence boils down to the fact that the entire image consists of dots of various sizes and colors. The final drawings look three-dimensional and in effect somewhat resemble stereo pictures.

Dan Sibley took the Aboriginal point technique as a basis, modified it somewhat and adapted it to his own needs. Most often, the artist draws buildings, and these can be both idyllic luxury hotels and houses on fire. The author's “fiery” series is especially impressive: thanks to the selected colors, it seems as if a bright flame is about to cease to be a part of the drawing, but actually kicks up. Dan Sibley devoted these works to the tragic pages in the life of Australia - the forest fires of 2009, which killed more than a hundred people and destroyed many houses.
