Creativity Timothy Martin (Timothy Martin) is the best way to get acquainted with him on a sunny spring day. Everything around wakes up from hibernation, blues and depression disappear irrevocably, and the soul asks for lush greenery and flowers - and the latter is more than enough in the paintings of our hero.
Timothy Martin's work can be roughly divided into two parts. The first should include his landscapes and still lifes: beautiful, but traditional. But the second part is much more interesting: here the most ordinary objects, including dishes, furniture, musical instruments, are depicted as consisting of flowers, fruits and greenery. In such an unusual style, the author began to create in the 80s of the last century. His first job was a nest-like chair with bird wings. The audience loved it, and Timothy did it, and he created several more similar works, including a Victorian armchair lavishly decorated with flowers. After that, it became clear: the author had already found his theme and his own style.
There is no doubt about the sources of inspiration for Timothy Martin: without a doubt, this is nature. The author says that he tries to walk more often and during each of his walks to find something new, to see in the world around him that he did not notice before. People often ask an artist how he comes up with certain ideas in his works. “For me, ideas are the easiest part of the job,” Timothy says. “There are hundreds of such ideas in my head and notebooks. The only thing that does not give me the opportunity to bring them all to life is the limited time."
Timothy Martin is an American painter and sculptor. He became widely known in 1993, when his paintings were displayed in the windows of Tiffany & Company on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Since then, exhibitions of the author's works have been held all over the world, and the cost of his works ranges from 20 to 45 thousand dollars. You can see all the works of Timothy Martin on his official website.
