Namba park in Japan Is a real architectural masterpiece that can be called a modern interpretation of the concept of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Huge shopping complex built in the city center Osaka on the site of the former baseball stadium, has its own zest: the multi-storey building is "supplemented" with terraced gardens of extraordinary beauty.
The Namba shopping complex was built in 2003, terraced parks occupy eight floors, so this place can rightfully be considered a real green oasis in the middle of a gray metropolis. In the park areas, you can see not only plants, but also numerous stylized natural landscapes of stones, rocks, artificial streams, waterfalls and even small ponds.
A walk in the park can be supplemented with shopping and all kinds of entertainment: there are many shops from the second to the fifth floor, and gourmet restaurants await visitors on the sixth floor. The real highlight of Namba is the small plots of land that can be rented in this shopping complex. These "plots" are an alternative for those who dream of "digging in the ground" in the country, but do not have such an opportunity. According to the architects who worked on the park project, their brainchild became a vivid example of how nature, culture and man can successfully interact without destroying, but complementing each other.
