As far as we know, it is usually not enough for fashion photographers to simply photograph people - they must definitely come up with something that literally drives you crazy. Well, or at least unusual. Lately, many of them have been experimenting with paint. And photographer Sarah St. Clair Renard decided to change the concept a little and threw colorful powder on her models.
There are quite a few notable names among the photographers using paint. For example, Gabriel Wickbold, who used all the colors of the rainbow in his works. And Sarah St. Clair Renard “modestly” powdered several models with only 4 colors.
In general, Sarah is a fairly well-known fashion photographer and art director, who does not sit idle, since there are a lot of projects and proposals. These works are only a small fraction of them. She made them for Yen Magazine. Judging by the costumes of the models who took part in these experiments with multi-colored powder, this photo session was timed to coincide with some kind of oriental spring festival. It is immediately evident that the girl did not regret the powder.
The girl's website has several sections dedicated to different works. I personally recommend the “stories” section with a bunch of different story photos. And on her blog, you can watch a great video on how these photos were created.

This crazy world in atmospheric historical photographs of the strangest photographer of the 20th century
The Rob Muris archive is notable for the fact that the main selection criterion for getting into it was the strangeness of the pictures, and of any nature. The photographer was called to digitize the large Dutch archive Spaarnestad, located on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Muris re-filmed "digitally" analog works, of which there were millions in the archive, sometimes retouching and restoring them
Crazy experiments in the USSR: real and fictional
Some of the Soviet experiments are just insane, especially those between the two world wars. Some pushed science forward like the creation of two-headed dogs, others seemed to be useless from the very beginning. Anyway, everyone could be a part of a comic book plot or a movie about mad scientists
Flying office worker, wild boar in the city and other crazy ideas by photographer Koen Demuynck
Many photographers and artists try to come up with original themes for their work, but few can compete with a Belgian named Koen Demuynck. In his masterfully taken photos, you will see excavators raking into heaps not garbage and not earth, but money, Big Ben in the field, a sawmill made of pencils, a hand boar-cleaver in the city, a monkey at a traffic light and a whole bunch of superbly realized crazy ideas of a madman genius
Girls and cosmetics. Colorful art project Color me crazy by Sarah St. Clair renard
Experimenting with vibrant makeup, artist and photographer Sarah St. Clair Renard, the author of numerous beauty photo shoots for fashion glossy magazines, has figured out how to diversify her own creativity, making it more explosive and eye-catching. This is how the colorful art project Color me crazy was born, in which female models participated and there was a lot of multi-colored powder
Experiments with form and content in the works of Sarah Illenberger
A whole generation of artists has already grown up who do not even imagine how it is possible to create works not on a computer, but by hand! But such "modern" authors do not include the German Sarah Illenberger, who does all her incredible, experimental visual work by hand
