May 15 marks the 78th anniversary of the famous actress Svetlana Svetlichnaya, which is called the first sex symbol of Soviet cinema. She played 68 roles, but everyone remembers her from an episode in "Diamond hand" and the phrase "I'm not guilty, he came himself!" Her personal and creative destiny developed quite successfully - until she destroyed everything herself. Her relatives could not forgive her for the death of her husband, Vladimir Ivashov, and her youngest son Oleg.
Svetlana grew up as a spoiled general's daughter, in abundance and adoration. To the fact that a princess with an angelic appearance should become a star of the screen, she was trained since childhood. Therefore, after graduating from school, the choice of a profession was not difficult - she entered VGIK on the course of Mikhail Romm. Galina Polskikh, Andron Konchalovsky, Valery Nosik studied with her. Already in the first year, she acquired a large number of fans, and took male attention for granted.
Even then, Svetlichnaya decided that she would not connect fate with an ordinary student - she dreamed of an outstanding, famous and successful life partner. Her dreams came true only partly - Vladimir Ivashov was indeed an all-Union famous actor after starring in the film "The Ballad of a Soldier", but they had to live in a communal apartment, six of them, in the same room with his relatives. At that time, Svetlichnaya was not embarrassed - she was sincerely in love.
Their marriage lasted 35 years thanks to the patience of Vladimir Ivashov and his ability to forgive the numerous betrayals of his wife. “The fact that we never parted was not my merit, but Volodya's. He understood that I am an emotional person, even, perhaps, fickle, and I may have some quirks, but he was monogamous, knew how to forgive,”Svetlana admits.
She was credited with novels with Vyacheslav Tikhonov, Andrei Mironov and even Yuri Gagarin. She does not deny only that during the filming of "The Diamond Hand" she kissed Mironov. Although she was not spoiled for roles in films, she was included in all Soviet delegations during foreign trips. “They filmed others, but they just bragged about me,” says the actress.
The real popularity came to her after filming the movie "The Diamond Arm". Although the role was episodic, everyone remembered the first striptease in the USSR on the screen. The actress recalls: “The very next day after the premiere, I became incredibly popular. All Soviet women of fashion then went crazy in search of a pink robe with mother-of-pearl buttons."
In the 1980s, Ivashova and Svetlichnaya were filmed extremely rarely, and in the 1990s they were completely forgotten. Vladimir had to go to work on a construction site, Svetlana finally took care of her sons, whose upbringing had until that time been the duty of her father. At a construction site, Ivashov undermined his health, and in 1995 he died suddenly. Left without a job and without a husband, Svetlana lived in poverty and lived in poverty. She had to get a job as a cleaner in the house of a wealthy businessman. At one time she had problems with alcohol. This addiction also killed her youngest son Oleg - he died at the age of 33.
She tried to arrange her personal life, but her marriage to the bard Sergei Sokolsky lasted only 27 days. The man, who was almost 20 years younger than her, did not have sincere feelings for her. They started talking about Svetlichnaya again after her filming in Renata Litvinova's film "The Goddess: How I Fell in Love" in 2004. In the past few years, the actress has appeared in public with a young stylist Ruslan Tatianin. She blossomed again and shocks the audience with revealing outfits and bold looks.
Until now, everyone associates the name Svetlichnaya with erotic shots from Soviet films, and, it seems, the actress herself is quite happy with this.
