One of the British newspapers said that soon there will be published works by Jerome David Salinger, the existence of which was previously unknown to anyone. This was told by Matt Salinger himself - the son of the famous American classic, who will be remembered by many for his novel entitled "The Catcher in the Rye".

Matt doesn't deny this. During his interview, he noted that his father preferred to live alone for a long time. He lived in the state of New Hampshire, in the city of Cornish. Until his death, he did not stop writing. All the works that he managed to create and previously unknown to anyone will be published.

In accordance with the wishes of his father, Matt must collect all the works and publish them. This is not an easy matter and not fast, since for 50 years Jerome David Salinger has not been published, and he has accumulated a large number of works. All works must be published at the same time, and therefore preparatory work will take a lot of time. Judging by the volume, it will take Matt several years to complete what his father asked him to do. He hopes to be able to do this in the next decade.

It was clarified that Matt began to work on the preparation of all works of publications the next year after his father's death, in 2011. Colin O'Neill, the writer's widow, helps him in this. They try to work as quickly as possible. Remembering his father, Matt says that in his head there were a huge number of thoughts and ideas to write them down, he could suddenly stop the car on the road. There were notepads all over his house.

Jerome David Salinger chose a secluded life for himself, as he believed that interaction with people negatively affects his literary activity. He especially avoided communication with persons related to literature. He wished the same to all other people who have a writing talent and wish to develop in this direction.

No details about the unknown works of the classic are known. It is assumed that they will tell about the Glass family, whose members will become participants in various works. New works can be perceived ambiguously after printing, in Matt's opinion, but they will definitely appeal to real readers.
