Modern video games, despite their huge budgets, comparable to those of blockbuster movies, will never have the timeless popularity that the first legendary games had and have. Such as, for example, Space Invaders… After all, even the design of cans for Coca-Cola in the style of this game appeared!
Space Invaders is one of the oldest and most popular computer games in the world! Moreover, its popularity has long outgrown exclusively the world of video games, becoming a part of popular culture around the world. Examples include Space Invaders-themed earrings or Patrick Jean's Pixel video. So the Coca-Cola company decided to celebrate the influence of the Space Invaders on mass culture.
Coca-Cola is famous for the unique design of its bottles and cans, which has remained practically unchanged for many decades. Unless the drawings on them can change, and even then not drastically. For example, on special occasions, and in limited quantities (how can you not remember pin-up style Coca-Cola cans?)
Another such design experiment was the Space Invaders-style Coca-Cola cans, designed by designer and artist Erin McGuire. Erin is known for her unusual painting technique. She paints in a pixelated style, creating pixelated images on walls, fences and other vertical and horizontal planes throughout Europe and America (she herself lives in Paris). So she was invited by the Coca-Cola Company to create the design of cans in the style of Space Invaders.
Erin McGuire designed the Coca-Cola Space Invader Edition for three different types of Coca-Cola soda. Classic red for Coca-Cola Classic, black for Coca-Cola Zero and gray for Diet Coke. They all look very unusual, extraordinary and recognizable. And on all of them there are Space Invaders, so beloved by us for more than thirty years.
The drinks from the Coca-Cola Space Invader Edition batch will go on sale worldwide in the very near future. So don't miss it!

Handmade in Soviet style: Devils from droppers, vases from postcards and other nostalgic crafts from the USSR
What today is denoted by the foreign word "handmade" in the Soviet Union was simply called "needlework". Considering that the choice of goods in the stores was small, homemade vases, boxes, hanging curtains in the doorway and small knick-knacks always found a suitable place for themselves in the apartments. It is interesting that with a huge selection of auxiliary materials, only a few models gained nationwide popularity
These extravagant ladies are close to the fashion world like no other - and therefore the stylists' recommendations "for women for …" cause them only laughter. They are not afraid to seem strange, funny, unlike anyone else in the world. They do not accept prohibitions and create trends themselves, their images are copied by young people, and their main motto is to enjoy life before it's too late. After all, when, if not 80 years old, flaunt in a rainbow swimsuit or a British flag hat?

Nevertheless, our today's heroines manage not only to take care of children, but also to play sports, follow the latest fashion and even promote their own business. By the way, these are mothers with many children - energetic, tireless women have four children. So we do not get tired of admiring and take an example
