- this is what can be said about the work of (Nick Veasey), famous for his unusual works, looking at which, you understand one simple thing, that whatever you say, beauty is a terrible force in the literal and figurative sense of the word …

The idea to shoot with X-rays came spontaneously to Nick. While working in a London advertising photography studio, he received an order to x-ray a can of Coca-Cola for a television show. A couple of hours later, on the same day, he decided to shoot in X-rays not only several different objects, but also his shoes, which later looked completely different in the pictures. So, a random order became a whole life for the experimental photographer. He is the first who managed to turn ordinary things into high-tech art, opening the door for the viewer to the world of futuristic pictures.

Nick removes most of his works in a specially equipped box that looks like a huge black box, which completely isolates the surrounding world from X-rays. Inside this structure are several X-ray machines and imaging equipment, which are controlled remotely. A person, an animal, or an inanimate object is placed on the floor or against a wall (with the X-ray sensitive film either under the object or behind it). Thus, X-rays pass through the object, completely fixing it in full size. And then it's a matter of time. All the captured plates and films are put together, scanned and edited, bringing in the proper form.

Nick works in two directions at once: to order and by inspiration. Hundreds of things, objects, animals and people have visited the lens of his camera, which can serve as an illustrative example in one area or another. Pictures of people in different poses become the brightest. For example, a spear thrower, or a man who reads a newspaper. But photographs of super-large objects such as a bus with passengers, an airplane, a car, a tractor with a driver, and much more have become very popular.

What kind of experiments do photographers go to in order to attract attention. And while some climb the hundredth floors of buildings to take selfies, others at this time create real works of art using ultraviolet rays. - an excellent example of this, because looking at these works, it is difficult to believe that these are real flowers, and not jewelry created by the skillful hand of the master.
