The first recording of the legendary American singer Elvis Presley plans to be included in the auction lots to be held in the United States. The recording, made in 1953, will be auctioned on January 8, 2015, on the singer's eightieth birthday. The venue for the auction was the Graceland estate, where Elvis Presley lived.

In addition to the first entry, other items that are related to Elvis will be put up for auction. They plan to sell 68 such items in total. Among these items will be a leather jacket - in which the singer starred in the movie "Long Live Las Vegas", as well as the first driver's license he received at the age of seventeen.

His first album, which consisted of only two compositions That's When Your Heartaches Begin and My Happiness, was recorded by Elvis Presley at the age of eighteen. The recording took place at the Sun Studios recording studio, which was located in Memphis, Tennessee. Having paid this studio four dollars, the young singer received an acetate gramophone record, which he wished to give to his mother. Since the family of the young singer did not have a record player, Presley decided to listen to this recording from his friend, where he left it. Elvis's mother was never able to get the tape specially made for her.

The organizers of the auction said that the first recording of Elvis for sixty years belonged to the same owner and will be presented at the auction for the first time.
