Brazilian photographer Marcus Hausser has a strange sense of humor: his work is difficult to interpret, but always interesting to look at. Sometimes he appeals to global problems, sometimes he just plays on his viewers.
Hausser started out as a commercial photographer, and as an "advertiser" he managed to collaborate with countless companies - the names of some speak for themselves: Harley Davidson, Fiat, Fedez. At the same time, the photographer finds time to participate in social advertising campaigns from international organizations such as UNICEF.
The turning point in the career of the Brazilian photographer came in 2002, when serious customers first drew attention to him. Since then, he has managed not only to take pictures of photo models and new cars, but also to participate, for example, in an advertising campaign to ban smoking.
Both advertising and non-commercial, Hausser's "author" works are distinguished by a huge amount of detail. It can be hands woven together, fruits, in which some of his characters literally "drown", or disgusting smoldering cigarettes. In each of these cases, the unusual texture charms the photographer himself and attracts the audience.
All of Hausser's works are marked by a consistent sense of humor. For example, Hausser's health promotion advertising photographs look like photographs of people who have just been "punched" in the face. And the signature: "Don't let a cold knock you out."
A huge number of talented photographers are now trying themselves in social advertising: it is worth remembering at least the creative cycles of pictures You are the key and Stop the cycle โฆ Hausser's photographs, like those of his most talented colleagues, are vivid confirmation that technical sophistication will never replace the unbridled human imagination.
