And from our window the red square is visible! Sounds good, but not true … Since you can see only a little of the streets from our window … How many can boast of beautiful, picturesque city views from their windows? Alas, this is not the case. At best, the windows overlook the neighboring house or playground. And at worst, I don't want to talk. American artist and designer Garrett Miller figured out a way to entertain those whose views from the window leave much to be desired. The artist's mischievous and funny project is called Windoodles … All it takes for a small show is a water-based marker that's easy to draw and just as easy to erase from a stained surface. Moreover, preferably several multi-colored, although one will do. Well, fantasy with imagination - without it, nowhere. What is visible outside the window? Multi-story houses? On them you can "settle" Godzilla or King Kong, "land" on the roof of a UFO or a helicopter with special forces. The mountain range outside the window? Well, you can draw on the glass climbers climbing the mountain … Or a string of camels loaded with overseas goods. Or even turn the mountain into Orodruin, and draw hobbits nearby. My window is my rules!
The Windoodles project is interesting for its ingenious simplicity, naughty, and also the fact that you don't have to be an artist to be involved in its development. So, on the site of this art project, drawings are posted not only by Garrett Miller himself, but also by those who, for fun, paint their windows as well. The Windoodles adherents send photos of their masterpieces to the author of the project, and he decides whether to replenish his collection of window scribbles or not.
Perhaps this project does not have any artistic value, but it gives a person the opportunity to return to childhood for a couple of minutes, when it was possible to draw on any surface, and drawings of the "point, point, two hooks" type seemed to themselves masterpieces of modern art. However, the main goal of Windoodles is entertainment, and if looking at the pictures made you smile and think about how to transform the landscape outside your own window, then Garrett Miller has achieved his goal.
