Canadian photographer Paul Zizka cannot imagine his life away from the mountains. Conquering peaks, walking in deserted places, admiring the harsh landscapes - all this is an integral part of his leisure time. To give you and me a virtual trip, he presented a series of gorgeous pictures, in which you can see not only breathtaking natural landscapes, but also himself.

The fashion of "auto photography" in recent years has embraced many, fortunately, modern gadgets allow you to take pictures from anywhere. Paul ižka, unlike those who take photographs “at arm's length”, prefers that every shot is taken professionally. To do this, he carefully thinks over the exposure, sets the camera on a tripod, turns on the timer - and instantly manages to take the place prepared for himself.

At the end of each trip, Paul ižka is left with a whole series of wonderful photographs, which harmoniously capture nature and man. The lights of night cities, the bewitching beauty of the polar lights, the bottomless depth of the night sky - against this background, the figure of the photographer himself looks like a grain of sand in the vast world.

Recall that earlier on the site Culturologia. RF we already wrote about the photographs of the mountains taken by Paul Zhizhka, then it was about daytime landscapes, now - about what the photographer happened to see during night walks. Most of all, he was struck by the aurora, during which the sky was painted in surprisingly bright colors from green to purple. The author of the project emphasizes that he hopes, through his photographs, to remind people of the need to renew the precious connection with nature in order to discover more and more wonders of our planet.
