The real highlight of the German town of Amberg is hotel Eh'haeusl, which is known for its diminutive size. Despite the fact that its width is 2.5 meters, and the area is 53 sq.m., the hotel is equipped with everything you need: there is a TV set and a mini-spa. True, only one couple can stay in it, although this is more a plus than a minus: a cozy room in Eh'haeusl is a real paradise for lovers.
We have already written about the addiction of Germans to unusual hotels on our website Culturology. RU. A hotel for car enthusiasts or a lighthouse hotel - what they can think of to lure customers! Another architectural attraction is the mini-hotel Eh'haeusl with a rather venerable history: it was built back in 1728, and since then has been a real decoration of the city. Of course, it is difficult to imagine that a house was specially designed in such a small size, because, of course, its functionality is minimal. In fact, Eh'haeusl was built in the name of love. A couple in love who wanted to get married had to get a home, as the city council only allowed marriages to those with real estate. To get around the law, resourceful lovers bought an inexpensive strip of land between the two houses, which in turn became the walls for the new building, and erected a roof on top. It was this newly-made house that became the guarantee of their future family life.
Surprisingly, the house has served not only its "creators". Having become engaged, the young resold the building to the next couple in love, who also did not have the opportunity to acquire their own living space. The owners changed every few weeks, so the building was soon named Eh'haeusl, which literally means "Wedding House".
Today the hotel, which bears the honorary title of the smallest in the world, is owned by Marina Schreiner. The hostess is pleased to welcome newlyweds from all over the world to Eh'haeusl, because, as the legend says among the locals, couples who have had a chance to visit an unusual tiny hotel live their family life happily and are not in danger of divorce.

Write letters in small handwriting. World's Smallest Postal Service by Lea Redmond
