The dwarf monkey Cebuella pygmaea is a real find for modern photographers. And the point is not even the amazing photogenicity of the animal, but the fact that this is the smallest monkey in the world and it is quite difficult to find it in the forest. Cebuella pygmaea lives in tropical forests and weighs only 100 grams.
Some scientists argue that the pygmy monkey is the smallest among monkeys. They argue that pygmy mouse lemurs deserve such a title. One way or another, but the charm of the little Cebuella pygmaea does not hold. Despite their tiny size (11-15 centimeters, not counting the tail), dwarf monkeys are very similar to their larger counterparts.
Cebuella pygmaea lives in the northern regions of Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, and southern Colombia. The dwarf monkey spends most of its life in a tree. Moreover, Cebuella pygmaea live in flocks, categorically not accepting anyone else. Apparently, this rule applies only to animals, since dwarf monkeys are not only not afraid of photographers, but also welcome. The Japanese macaques also have the same love for the paparazzi. You can verify this by watching the photo session "Bathing Japanese Macaques in Hot Springs" by photographer Jasper Doest.

Write letters in small handwriting. World's Smallest Postal Service by Lea Redmond

Do you think that giant monkeys only live in fairy tales, science fiction films and psychedelic dreams in opiate abusers?
