Back in the 18th century, English fine art became famous throughout Europe with its famous landscape paintersamong whom John Constable and William Turner are especially famous. Over the past centuries, a lot has changed in art, but even after Andy Warhol, it turns out, you can continue the classic artistic traditions. Proof of this - the countryside landscapes of the famous British artist James Noutonthat make you remember the skill of both Turner and Constable.
James Noughton was born in 1971 in a rather large (100 thousand inhabitants) city Boltonthat in Lancashire, in a working-class family - the area in the suburbs is very picturesque; it is not surprising that in the future the artist will be carried away rural landscapes … Remembering the creative atmosphere of Northern Angia in the 70s (reflected in the photo of Liverpool by Paul Trevor), we will not be surprised that young Nouton was inspired not by the bed and the channel, but by art - of course, visual. By the time he entered the local university, James already had an art school under his belt.
At the institute, continuing his acquaintance with painting, Nouton became very interested in the technique monoprints … This painting method, which is very popular when drawing on fabric, requires first applying paint to a substrate (acetate sheet, metal, etc.) and then printing it onto canvas or paper. Only one print is made, the drawing is unique, and even the artist himself cannot fully predict the texture of his work. It is in this technique that many of Nouton's works are made.
Like most contemporary artists, Nouton had to earn a piece of bread by craft - but he did not abandon experiments and searches in art. As a result, Nowton is now one of the most famous contemporary English artists. Although he has amazing "nautical" work, first of all he owes his fame to rural landscapes … The artist's light paintings, inspired by the traditions of British painting, sometimes remind of the vague mystery inherent in Turner's landscapes - and sometimes of the concreteness and clarity of Constable's paintings.
Looking closely, we can say that the artist combines the watercolor blur of the sky with the clarity and transparency of the earth. Looking at rustic landscapes of Nouton, you understand: if something in England has changed over the past centuries, then it is definitely not her beautiful nature.

Contemporary art from Konstantin Zolotarev. Contemporary Christian art or icon painting style
The icon painting style created for the depiction of saints and Christ is aimed at displaying a different reality. Therefore, in the icon, the portrait resemblance of a saint to a person who actually lived once is not in principle, since it reflects a transformed person who is in the upper world. But after all, the saints once lived on earth, they were like us, they ate and drank and had practically the same problems as modern man
