Old age is not a joy. She spares neither women, nor men, nor ordinary people, nor celebrities. Before her, everyone is equal. And everyone is powerless. The German Pension Center decided to treat this serious issue with humor and created a unique calendar, on the pages of which it showed how movie stars would look in old age.
To take part in the photography, the organizers invited elderly people who vaguely resemble certain actors, professional make-up artists, photographers. Dressers tried to dress older models in clothes exactly like those worn by the heroes of the film. Producers - to advertise the future calendar as much as possible.
The result exceeded all expectations. 89-year-old James Bond is in great shape, Mary Poppins at 78 is still babysitting children, the Blues brothers travel, despite their advanced age (76 and 77 years). Initially, Contilla printed 5,000 copies of the calendars, most of which they distributed to their customers and employees. But the popularity of the publication has grown so much that the organizers are planning to reissue the calendar.
The company will give all the proceeds from the sale to nursing homes. By the way, this is exactly what the design academy student from the Netherlands Yoni Lefévre, the author of the unique "Gray Power" photo project, did.
