As a child, Valeria Listyeva did not tell anyone that the famous presenter, whose programs are watched by millions of viewers, is her dad. She, at a conscious age, was never able to meet with him, because just a month before the appointed date, Vladislav Listyev was gone. She is periodically trying to prick either by doubting her relationship with the TV presenter, or by reproaches that she has chosen the “wrong” profession.
Not daddy's daughter
As a child, Valeria Listyev was very shy and notorious. She was still very young when her mother told her that the famous presenter Vlad Listyev was her dad. When the girl grew up, she was constantly tormented by thoughts of her father. No, she was not at all interested in the question of why he does not live with her and her mother, or what prevents him from appearing at least sometimes in her life. She had enough love and attention in the family from her mother and grandmother.
Most of all, she suffered from the realization that she was unworthy of her intelligent and talented father. Millions of viewers watched programs with his participation, he constantly appeared on television screens and was one of the most popular people of his time. And she was an average student, in her report card sometimes there were even "Cs".
She was only 14 when her father passed away. They were never able to meet and talk, although grandmother Lida showed real miracles of entrepreneurship and was able to arrange a meeting between father and daughter in April 1995. But on March 1, Vlad Listyev passed away. Valeria then had to become a participant in a not very pleasant procedure associated with her father's inheritance. She herself, of course, did not think about anything like that at that time, but grandmother Lida insisted that Valeria should have at least a separate home, and they would not claim more.
Lydia Ivanovna was full of determination, was able to withstand the unthinkable pressure that the whole family was subjected to after the death of the pope. Elena Esina, Valeria's mother, was summoned to the investigator several times and even considered her as a possible criminal. They checked Lydia Ivanovna and her acquaintances. Fortunately, the involvement of Listyev's daughter herself was not considered.
Lydia Ivanovna withstood everything with honor, and then entered into a five-year lawsuit with Vlad Listyev's last wife, wanting to achieve justice and receive for her granddaughter at least part of the inheritance due to her by law. But Albina Nazimova was categorically against the inclusion of Valeria among the heirs of the TV presenter. And she even said during the court hearings: Vlad Listyev doubted that Valeria was his daughter.
Many years later, Valeria Listyev, studying the archive collected by her grandmother during the trial, will often be surprised at how many lies and conjectures arose immediately after the death of the famous TV presenter. She knew her father only from his programs, but she was familiar with his parents, her grandparents, and after seeing photographs of Valeria and her father as a teenager, it was impossible not to agree: the similarity between them was simply incredible.
Lydia Ivanovna was still able to prove the granddaughter's right to at least a separate house, and she herself had to represent Lera's interests. Many of the lawyers she turned to refused this case. And yet, Vlad Listyev's daughters inherited a small land plot in the Odintsovo district, two used VAZ cars and several shares of the VID television company. When all this was sold, they bought a two-room apartment for Valeria in a residential area of the capital.
Silent conversation
After graduating from high school, Valeria entered the Moscow Pedagogical University, and already in her student years she married her first love. She was waiting for her future husband from the army and immediately after his demobilization, the lovers got married. On the wedding day, she asked to stop the car at the Vagankovsky cemetery, feeling the need to visit her father's grave that day, as if to ask for his blessing.
I must say that she studied at the university, rather, out of the need to prove her importance to her mother. She studied diligently, but not for the sake of the future profession of a speech therapist-psychologist, but only in order to proudly put a red diploma in front of her mother. True, there was a moment when she was about to leave the university. Then Valeria Osetskaya (surname in marriage) signed up for nail design courses during the summer holidays, got carried away and wanted to leave thoughts of higher education. But the teacher Lyudmila Khalilova was able to convince the student of the need to graduate from the university.
At that time, she had already managed to work in the beauty salon "Velia" and now she had a choice: to develop further as a master of nail design or to try herself in the profession. She worked for six months in her specialty in kindergarten, but still decided to master the job perfectly, which she liked much more. Valeria Osetskaya has become a very successful master. She constantly studied, comprehending all the intricacies of the profession, and later she herself began to teach nail design at the Dolores Academy of Hairdressing. She participated in various competitions, including international ones, studied in Germany and was in great demand.
While Valeria was developing in the chosen direction, her husband learned to spend time in the casino and playing slot machines, and acquired habits that were unpleasant for his wife. She tried to fight for some time, then endure, and then realized that she was not ready to spend her whole life fighting her husband's addictions.
After the divorce, Valeria regained her maiden name, which she did not change in her second marriage. Now she has a wonderful loving husband and three beloved children - Anastasia, Bogdan and Gordey. And also my favorite profession.
Even today she tries not to advertise her kinship with a famous presenter, believing that she has her own path in life, and it is simply unethical on her part to exploit her father's surname and glory. True, when someone recognizes in her the daughter of Listyev, Valeria has to face amazement: how could the daughter of such a famous presenter choose such a non-prestigious profession for herself?
She does not see anything shameful in her, on the contrary, she is proud that she has clients who are ready to come to her anywhere. And even now, sitting on maternity leave, she enjoys reading messages from her clients, where they ask if she has started work. She could only afford to deal with home and family, since her husband fully provides for her and the children, but still Valeria reserves the right to leave the next decree to work when the youngest son grows up.
Valeria Listyeva is sure: they could become good friends with their father, if not for that fatal shot on March 1, 1995. After all, she fell in love with him in those distant years, when she only learned that “the uncle on TV” was her dad. At the slightest opportunity, she visits her father's grave and there she conducts her silent conversation with him. She never reproaches dad, but only speaks of her love and thanks for the life she has given.
Vlad Listyev left this world very early, like Vladimir Turchinsky, Viktor Tsoi, Igor Talkov. Each of them already children grew up, who have chosen their own path in life and in art today.
