On February 22, the famous actress Yekaterina Gradova, the first wife of Andrei Mironov, who was remembered by the audience for the role of radio operator Kat from "Seventeen Moments of Spring", passed away. Her acting career was very short-lived, and for over 30 years she had not acted in films. But at the same time, the star of her daughter, Maria Mironova, rose, who followed in the footsteps of famous parents and became one of the most sought-after modern actresses. Although she had a very tender relationship with her mother, she still did not consider herself a good daughter and recently admitted that it was only after 45 years that she realized what values were paramount for her.

Probably, during her lifetime, Ekaterina Gradova lived two lives: in the first of them she was a famous actress, the star of the legendary films "Seventeen Moments of Spring" and "The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed", and also the wife and mother of a child of one of the most talented and popular Soviet actors Andrei Mironov. Those who communicated with her in her youth probably would not have recognized her in the second half of her life, when Gradova abandoned her acting profession and publicity, came to God and adopted a boy from an orphanage. She probably would not have imagined this herself.

She did not immediately understand that she wanted to connect her life with the acting profession. Her mother, Raisa Gradova, was an actress, and Ekaterina often visited the theater, but from childhood she studied English and German and after school entered the Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages. However, after studying there for only one year, she realized that the scene attracts her much more. Gradova entered the Moscow Art Theater School and already in the 4th year made people talk about herself when she played the main character in the play "Talents and Admirers". After completing her studies, the actress first came to the Theater. V. Mayakovsky, and after 2 years - at the Theater of Satire, and appeared on its stage until 1987.

In addition, Mironov was not ready for family life, Gradova heard rumors about his hobbies, and when she herself was convinced of his infidelity, she could not forgive and left him. Later, she was very sorry about the divorce from Mironov - she said that then she simply did not have enough wisdom and patience. Gradova said: "". The actress continued to love him and allowed herself to start communicating with other men only after Mironov was gone.
