Alla Pugacheva only had five official marriages, and the number of hobbies and loves can hardly be accurately calculated. And yet an important place among all the men who left a mark on her life is Mikolas Orbakas, the first husband of the Prima Donna and the father of her daughter Christina. Once, having gone to the Griboyedov registry office, they believed that they would live a long and happy life together, and together they would rise to the top of fame. But Alla Pugacheva's first marriage lasted only four years.
The predicted meeting
Alla Pugacheva was not yet twenty when her friend suddenly invited her to tell fortunes and said: she will definitely be great. But at that moment the prospect of becoming famous interested the future Soviet pop star much less than the question of when she would meet her fiancé and get married. The girlfriend, it seems, did not even think about it, but immediately said: right tomorrow, in the state house, the girl will meet her fate.
And the next day, Alla Pugacheva walked through the foyer of the circus school and did not know that a young man was watching her from the balcony of the second floor. The singer came to the audition, pretending to be a soloist in the program, which the third year was preparing for practice.
The third-year student Mikolas Orbakas, who was watching the girl, hurried to the audience and ran into Alla Pugacheva at the door. The girl seemed to him the most ordinary: a small sprout, with a scattering of freckles on her face and a shock of red hair. But she managed to conquer everyone at once, barely singing several songs of her own composition. And then it turned out that Alla is also very sociable, cheerful and lively.
Once they were the whole group visiting the accompanist. When everyone had been asleep for a long time, Mykolas and Alla kept talking and could not stop talking. Probably, from that very night conversation, their mutual sympathy began, after a couple of months they already met. Alla almost immediately introduced Mykolas to his parents, who immediately adopted their future son-in-law. And Alla, having come to her future husband in Lithuania, liked his relatives at first sight.
From the day of the first meeting of Alla Pugacheva and Mykolas Orbakas to the painting in the Griboyedov registry office, exactly six months passed. At the same time, it was the singer who was the initiator of the wedding. However, the groom did not even resist, although he considered himself not too ready for family life.
Hat of Discord
Their wedding could hardly be called modest. The newlyweds did not count on the restaurant, but seventy people came to the diner, which was not far from the house where Alla Borisovna's parents lived. They cooked at the Pugachevs' houses, and they brought ready-made dishes to the diner. The wedding was fun, and the bride and groom sincerely believed: this is for life.
The couple lived in a 17-meter room in a communal apartment, where Mikolas and a friend made cosmetic repairs in just a couple of days. Christina was born there a year and a half later. At first, Alla Pugacheva did not leave her daughter, not trusting anyone to take care of the baby. True, her mother, Zinaida Arkhipovna, helped her a lot. When the singer lost her milk, she immediately returned to work, began to go on tour.
Mykolas was also constantly away. And, by his own admission, he often went on a spree with his comrades. He assures that he never cheated on his wife, just their nomadic lifestyle gradually led to distance from each other. The couple saw each other too rarely, they did not have enough time to just stop and talk. Allegedly, this led to a divorce. Alla Borisovna echoed him, answering journalists' questions about the reasons for breaking up with her first husband.
And only many years later, Christina Orbakaite, while filming the film "Love-Carrot", revealed the family secret to her colleague Gosha Kutsenko. Then Christina and Gosha spent a lot of time both directly during filming and in rare moments of rest. As it turned out, Christina very well remembered what exactly was the last straw that overflowed the future diva's patience.
The family then lived very modestly, and Alla Pugacheva saved money for quite some time to buy her daughter a white rabbit hat, which was very expensive by Soviet standards - as much as 25 rubles. When the coveted amount was collected, Alla Borisovna handed the money to her husband and sent it to the store for a new thing for three-year-old Christina.
The husband was absent for two days and returned home badly rumpled. Together with his friends, he simply let go of the money intended for the purchase of that same hat. Moreover, barely crossing the threshold, he asked his wife for money for a drink, because after two days of libations he felt not in the best way.
One can imagine what Mykolas Orbakas heard in response. Angry Alla was not particularly shy in expressions and expressed to her husband everything she was thinking about at that moment. She decisively slammed the door behind Mykolas and decided to divorce.
She understood that further life with this person is completely hopeless. At the same time, Alla Borisovna was aware that her husband's behavior was also her fault. At that time, she was busy with her career, not paying due attention to the family. The prima donna was worried about both him and her daughter, but she believed that divorce was the only way out.
At first, she did not even allow Mikolas to see Christina, but later she called her ex-husband herself and offered to see her daughter. Gradually, the former spouses were even able to communicate normally.
They divorced in the fall of 1973 and since then each has its own life. But that's a completely different story.
Men, falling under the incredible energy of Alla Pugacheva, immediately lost their heads. Wherein Among her secret admirers were very popular personalities, and the fact of her relationship with some of them, the Prima Donna, even today prefers not to advertise.
