Sergei Vasilievich Demidov lived his entire life in Ryazan, served in law enforcement agencies. In his free time he painted pictures. As an inheritance, the Demidov family received from Sergei Vasilyevich many works of his brush. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the birth of Sergei Demidov.

“Having heard in the news about the idea of the People's Art Prize for ordinary people, that there will be an exhibition, the alley will be planted, we decided that we should definitely participate in such a kind initiative. Small trees are growing today for the future oak alley in Rybnoye. If the local soils in the park are suitable for oak trees, and we do not contradict the concept of the future artists' park, then the Rybnoy seedlings will grow in Ryazan as well. In general, the idea of a national award for ordinary people who are fond of creativity is very kind and correct. Therefore, we decided to support her at all stages. We started with planting trees,”said the politician.
Alexander Demidov will give an author's concert during the award ceremony. The proceeds from the event will go towards the budget of the prize fund and the ceremony itself.
