Gorky Park
The members of the group, born in 1987 at the Stas Namin Center, initially set ambitious goals for themselves. The name itself was self-explanatory. Indeed, it was in the 1980s that the detective story of Martin Cruz Smith “Gorky Park” and the film of the same name based on it were very popular in the USA.
The first album "Gorky Park" was released in 1989 and became a real event for rock lovers. The original style of performance, the stunning voice of the soloist Nikolai Noskov, outstanding music - all this allowed the group to loudly declare itself. Moreover, in the United States at that time there was a special interest in the Soviet theme, and on the cover of the album the abbreviation GP was stylized as the image of the hammer and sickle.
The compositions of "Gorky Park" very quickly became popular, and some of them took a place in the music charts of the United States.
Aria
This group is rightfully considered one of the most popular and successful in the history of Russian rock. On October 31, 1985, the first album of "Aria" was released under the name "Megalomania", and this day is considered the official birthday of the band. In 1986 the group began to tour actively, and in November they released their second album "With whom are you?" Compositions "Aria" firmly entrenched on the first lines of the charts.
Since 1988, "Aria" began to tour abroad, mainly in Germany and Bulgaria, the group toured Poland in the fall of 2013, and in late November and early December the group toured the USA and Canada. Concerts in Russia and the countries of the Near Abroad are always sold out. With the tour "Curse of the Seas" "Aria" visited many cities of Russia, visited Germany and France.
In 2019, the next album of the "Guest from the Kingdom of Shadows" group was released, which received a lot of positive reviews from music critics around the world.
King and the Clown
The Russian horror punk band managed to win a mass of fans all over the world thanks to the unusual style of performance and the semantic load of each composition. The songs of The King and the Jester are whole mystical stories. The incredible success of the group is primarily due to the personality of its leader Mikhail Gorshnev.
In the early 2000s, "KiSh" was at the peak of its popularity, its tours took place not only in Russia and the CIS countries, but also in Israel, Finland and the USA. Unfortunately, Mikhail Gorshnev passed away in 2013, and his last project was the staging of the Zong-Opera TODD, based on the play by Christopher Bond, born out of the existing urban legends about the serial killer Sweeney Todd.
ARKONA
The group, formed in 2002 in the Dolgoprudnensk native faith community, uses elements of the paganism of the ancient Slavs in its work. ARKONA made its first appearance on the world stage in 2008 during its performance at the European Ragnarök Festival V in Germany, immediately gaining recognition from the audience and receiving a contract offer with one of Europe's largest labels, Napalm Records.
Since 2010, ARKONA has been successfully touring all over the world, conquering more and more new peaks. The group's concerts took place in Europe, North and South America, in some Asian countries.
Slaughter To Prevail
This group began with a proposal from the founder of the group "Acrania" Jack Simons. The musician wrote a message to the vocalist Alexander Shikolai on the social network, in which he shared his idea of working on a joint project. The result was the Russian deathcore band Slaughter To Prevail.
The first performance of "Slaughter To Prevail" took place in Belgium, in September 2014 the first single was released, and in April 2015 the band took part in a European tour with the famous rock bands Ingested and Acranius.
