And if in an adventure novel such a letter usually floats by sea in a sealed bottle, then in our time it is more prosaic - a letter can be found in a book, under the wallpaper, on a chair in a public building, or just on a closet. The news was published on the Facebook page of the Australian radio station ABC Adelaide. User Kirsty Duncan said that her family recently bought a travel van, and in it, in one of the drawers, a letter from an unknown girl was found.

- Hi, my name is Poppy and I am 10 years old. This was our trailer, and we drove half of Australia in it. This was my bed (top bunk) and it was very comfortable. This drawer (this is where you found this letter) was the place where I kept all my secret things that I could not leave at home when we traveled. I hope you enjoy this trailer very much, says the message. - I am in the fifth grade and am very well versed in art. I have a message for you: follow your dreams, and if you have a choice between being right or being kind, choose good. Enjoy this trailer.

The story caused a real boom on the Internet. Users found this secret letter incredibly sweet and rushed to share their own findings in the comments. As it turned out, there are just a lot of such examples.

For example, Mark Douglass found an anonymous message on the glass of his car just before Christmas.

- We do not know each other and may never meet, but I just wanted to say: I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Our world is full of negativity and criticism, but I will still try to destroy this stereotype and share a good atmosphere, - wrote the anonymous author and added that happiness begins with little things and the importance of a smile, a kind word or an ordinary letter should not be underestimated.

“Remember that everything starts with our thoughts,” added the anonymous author.

Douglass admitted that this letter was received just at a time when he was in dire need of support.

And Jessica Finn said that her beloved friend, who was undergoing cancer treatment at the hospital, discovered a secret message in the locker room.

- To all my lovely friends. Please remain positive and remember that you are not alone. We are a family now. I wish you a happy life. Together we will defeat this. Your friend Kim. I love you all, - wrote a stranger.

Jessica explained that this letter of support filled her friend with hope and love.

Supermarket employee Laura Irwin also told her story. Shortly before Easter, she found a letter at work in which a lucky lottery ticket was pasted - its owner won $ 1,000 and wrote that he wished the person who found the message happiness and good luck, and the ticket, he said, would help with this.

“At that time, I was very tense and shocked because of the covid panic, and I just burst into tears when I found this wonderful letter,” Laura admitted.

And Marisa Dingham discovered the note while traveling on board an airplane when she decided to look through a glossy magazine.

Retired Kerry Sacco also shared an "anonymous" message she received on her birthday from her six-year-old granddaughter:

- You are like a lovely flower, pink tulips. Your favorite color is pink. You are like a little tulip. I love you so much. You are like an angel that descends from above and illuminates my heart. Therefore, I thank you for the fact that you love me, and I repay the same, because you are a wonderful person, - was diligently brought out by a child's hand.

Among the Internet users, there were also those who themselves leave such messages to strangers.

So, Gillian Jordan said that in their last house, her three children hid "secret letters" under the carpet when the floor was covered in the room.

Letters are different. Sometimes these are real time capsules that make it possible to find out how people of the past lived and felt. It is difficult to imagine what emotions people felt when they found a message in a child's boot from Auschwitz.
