He was the favorites of all Soviet children, who, like the heroes of the program Khryusha and Stepashka, called the presenter affectionately Uncle Volodya. For more than 30 years, Vladimir Ukhin hosted the program "Good night, kids" and told entertaining and instructive stories to children at night. In his own destiny, unexpected turns awaited him, tests of the strength and happiness of fatherhood, acquired only at the age of 62.
Change life scenario
His father Ivan Ivanovich headed the Omsk Agricultural Institute, his mother Alexandra Vasilievna served as an accountant before the birth of her beloved son in 1930, and after that she devoted herself entirely to her family.
Volodya Ukhin, on the advice of his father, after graduating from school, entered the Agricultural Institute, but already in his third year he realized how much the future profession does not correspond to his inner worldview. He was attracted by the profession of an actor, so the young man resolutely took the documents from the institute and went to conquer Moscow. Vladimir was sure that he would succeed.
In the capital, he first entered the course of Lev Mirov in the studio of the Variety Theater, and after graduating from GITIS in 1960, he was selected for the position of television announcer. At the same time, Vladimir Ukhin had to go through a serious competition, because out of fifty applicants, only two could be taken.
At the beginning of his television career, the aspiring announcer hosted "Village Hour", after "Merry Notes", and four years after employment, he first appeared in the program "Good night, kids". For many years Vladimir Ukhin became the most beloved and famous presenter of the children's program.
The announcer perceived the absence of his own children very painfully, but at the same time he appeared on the TV screen every evening to give a fairy tale to thousands of children in different parts of the vast country. Boys and girls wrote him touching letters, asked for advice, shared their feelings and love.
Unspent tenderness
The first marriage of the announcer of Central Television lasted 14 years, but over the years he did not become a dad. The wife of "Uncle Volodya" Nina Zubkova was a soloist of the famous ensemble "Birch", and the leadership of the group was categorically against the leading dancers leaving work for a long time in order to give birth to heirs.
Nevertheless, Nina Zubkova was ready to ignore both the discontent of her superiors and her own career. But the pregnancy ended tragically for the young woman. Due to a severe cold, she could not bear the child, her pregnancy was terminated.
Each of the spouses experienced what happened in their own way. The trouble did not bring them together, and the forced separations due to mismatched work and tour schedules only increased the gap between the once close people. In addition, Vladimir Ukhin, who quickly became famous, began to increasingly find consolation in drinking alcohol.
He was always the soul of the company and at the same time a very gentle person who could not refuse an offer to drink. Soon his addiction became so strong that Vladimir Ukhin got into a fight, received a serious eye injury and disrupted the scheduled broadcast. The favorite of children had to seek the help of doctors and undergo treatment for alcoholism.
To the problems with alcohol, Vladimir Ivanovich's betrayals were added, and soon the couple decided to leave.
Later happiness
Natalia Makarova, a young employee of Mosfilm, was first met by Vladimir Ukhin when he was already 40 years old. The 19-year-old girl was very pretty, and the announcer simply could not help but pay attention to her. He knew how to please women, it was always interesting with him, he looked good and knew how, if desired, to look after beautifully. For more than twenty years, the age difference did not bother Natalya, and Vladimir Ivanovich did not feel any discomfort at all.
However, this time their romance was passionate, but not binding. Each of them was not ready for a serious relationship, and therefore after a while they broke up. To meet again in 10 years.
By the time of the "second wave" in relations, Vladimir Ivanovich had already settled down, he wanted stability, home comfort and a real family in his life. At first, Natalya Makarova and Vladimir Ukhin lived in a civil marriage, after which they legalized their relationship. Natalia loved her husband so much that she decided to leave her job and devote herself to caring for Vladimir Ivanovich.
The constant presence of his wife nearby was very important for the sought-after presenter. He spent a lot of time traveling and, remembering his previous experience of family life, the last thing he wanted was to be apart from Natalia for a long time. The wife began to accompany her husband on all trips, and soon informed him that they would have a child.
The future dad did not immediately believe in the reality of what was happening. But after that I was incredibly happy. Despite the fact that by the time of the birth of his son, Vladimir Ukhin was already 62 years old, and the 1990s were not the simplest, the announcer was ready to do everything for the normal life of the most dear people.
He constantly went on tour, gave concerts with his on-screen "friends" Khryusha and Stepashka, and later was the host during the performances of the "Laskoviy May" group.
Too busy schedule, frequent flights and stress undermined the health of "Uncle Volodya". He suffered two strokes, after which he no longer had the opportunity to do what he loved. It was difficult for him to stand for a long time, and as a result of the disease, he could no longer remember voluminous texts.
But even in the most difficult days, Vladimir Ivanovich always had a loving wife and son next to him. They surrounded the head of the family with their care, gave him a sense of their own need. The third stroke, in which the former Central Television announcer spent a week in a coma, occurred in April 2012. Vladimir Ukhin could no longer get up after him. He did not live just a week before his 82nd birthday.
Natalia Makarova still remembers her husband with tenderness and love, and Vladimir Ukhin's son Ivan graduated from the Institute of Television and became a television rector.
It's no secret that television today adapts to the tastes of viewers. And it is not surprising that not all programs remain on the air for a long time: tastes change - relevance is lost. But there are programs that have earned people's love - they have existed for many years and still do not lose their popularity.
