The future burlesque artist Faith Bacon (real name Francis Yvonne Bacon) was born in Los Angeles in 1910. Several years after birth, her parents divorced. As she grew older, Faith turned into a beauty with a doll face and a chiseled figure. At some point, she decided to become a dancer. To be frank, the girl did not study anywhere in dancing, and she did not have any special talents.
First, Faith went to Paris, where she met the artist Maurice Chevalier, he gave her the opportunity to perform in his revue. With singing, the girl did not work out, with the spoken genre too. There were dances, and even then, I had to be naked. It was a success.
In 1928, Faith Bacon returned to the United States. She performed on Broadway on Earl Carroll's Vanities, also known as the "nudity troubadour." Faith's performances were very erotic. The almost nude artist used colors, feathers, and huge transparent balloons as props. She was called the most beautiful dancer in America.

In 1956, Faith Bacon, deeply depressed, committed suicide by jumping out of a window. A roommate tried to hold her by grabbing her skirt, but she broke free and flew down. In the evening, Faith died in the hospital from her injuries. She was only 46 years old.
