In the 1980s, an unknown Australian became famous for an original prank: he took a garden gnome from a neighbor's plot and went with him on a trip around the world. I sent my neighbor photographs in which the dwarf "posed" near various sights. The idea was borrowed by the director of the film "Amelie", after the release of which many Englishmen and Frenchmen were happy to make fun of their loved ones. Today, such trips are made by 25-year-old Japanese woman Jinna Yang, her companion is a cardboard figure of her father.

Jinna Yang had a tragedy in her life two years ago: she lost her father. The terrible diagnosis - stomach cancer - was incurable. Going over the first bitterness of loss, the girl realized that it was necessary to live on, keeping the memory of the closest person. Remembering how many unfulfilled plans her father had left, she decided to cut his figure out of cardboard and visit with him those places in which he dreamed of visiting.

After the death of Jinn's father, Yang realized that she could no longer continue to work in one of the New York offices. She realized that work absorbs her completely: the desire to live gradually faded, because for the sake of a career she had to sacrifice communication with family and friends for many years, constant stress affected her health, and her hair began to fall out catastrophically. The girl remembered that her father gave up his dreams - travel and golf - for the sole purpose of ensuring the family's prosperity.

One fine morning, Jinna Yang made a lot of fateful decisions: she decided to change everything. She quit her job, ended a relationship that lasted five years, refused to renew the apartment rental agreement, sold most of her wardrobe for a song, and … bought a one-way ticket to Iceland.

Jinna Yang recalls that his father was diagnosed at the age of 51, he worked all his life 12 hours a day, six days a week, he had his own dry cleaner in Norfolk. “My father sacrificed his life for the sake of other people: parents, children, wife and friends,” the girl admits.

On her trips around the world, Jinna feels the presence of her father nearby; her entire family - her stepmother, 22-year-old brother and 9-year-old sister - are happy to look at the photos. Until today, Jinna Jan has seen many European sights, for example, the Blue Lagoon thermal resort in Iceland, the Parisian Louvre and the Roman Colosseum. She sincerely hopes that this photo cycle will inspire many to follow their dreams and fulfill their true desires!
