The crazy popularity of such Asian fast food as sushi, rolls and other maki has gradually led to the fact that restaurants (such as) Japanese cuisine are opened in almost every village, not to mention megacities or cultural and historical centers. Moreover, those dishes that are called real Japanese cuisine on the menu are in fact an imitation, a parody of what the Japanese call "rolls". However, our traditional dishes have certainly undergone no less changes in Asian restaurants of Eastern European cuisine. Lithuanian art studio Clinic 212 played this situation in a funny art project Eastern European Sushi … The humor designers got so carried away that they cooked up impromptu rolls, sushi, maki, nigiri and other traditional Asian dishes for a whole cookbook. In their hands, the usual ingredients as if by magic turned into cute and mouth-watering "rolls", like those served in sushi bars. Is that instead of raw or smoked fish - lard with garlic, herring, sprats, chicken breast, boiled pork, instead of shrimp - sausage and cheese, instead of rice - potatoes, dough, jellied meat, as well as an egg, green onion, boiled vegetables and much more, so uncommon for Japanese cuisine.
The sauces served with these unusual rolls are also curious. Naturally, we are not talking about any wasabi or soy syrup. Only proven, only our native sunflower oil, vinegar, ketchup, mayonnaise, as well as homemade sauces. It would be curious to see the Japanese who eat sausage rolls stuffed with vegetables, or try to take a square of jellied meat in dill with chopsticks with orange carrot pieces inside. By the way, these are just a few of the weird recipes that the Japanese can risk cooking in their kitchen. The rest is better not to try to repeat at home.
You can admire fragments of a cookbook, see recipes for strange sushi and rolls on the Eastern European Sushi website.

What methods were used to evict the Germans from Eastern Europe, or deportation in a European way
"Stalin's deportations" are a common cliché and traditionally condemned by society. The leader's manners are condemned with a special scope by pro-Western experts. But there is another story, which, for obvious reasons, is not heard. In the early post-war years, there was a massive displacement of ethnic Germans from Eastern Europe. Expulsion in most cases was accompanied by violence, confiscation of property, lynching, concentration camps. According to the Union of the Exiled, the European deportation of Germans was
Fairly rumpled furniture. Art project To be continued by Italian Studio Julien Сarretero
Not wanting something good to end, for example, a movie or a play, a book or a concert, people ask, demand, or even chant for the show to go on. And the creators of their favorite masterpieces often meet these requirements, because they are also interested in making their art in demand. But, as we all know, the continuation sometimes disappoints … I wonder what the designers from the Italian Studio Julien Сarretero hope for by releasing a series of art furniture called To be cont
Atlantis in an old subway car. Art project by Million Dollar Design studio
Recently, Amsterdam has its own Atlantis. It is located, as befits a sunken civilization, deep … but not under water, but in the underground kingdom of the underground. In such an unusual way, the Amsterdam Public Transport Company decided to diversify the interior of one well-worn trailer, turning it either into a huge aquarium, or into the seabed
Eastern philosophy in art. Buddhist statues of Sukhi Barber
The philosophy of the East not only relaxes a person, giving him the longed-for peace and harmony with his inner and outer world. She also gives him inspiration, energy and enlightenment, without which it is impossible to create art and share with the world the beauty that is concentrated within you. British artist and sculptor Sukhi Barber spent 12 years in Kathmandu studying Buddhist philosophy, and therefore her sculptures are imbued with both European and Asian creative spirit
Graffiti from colored cups on a mesh fence. Art project of the Multistab studio
Estonian design duo Multistab has taken a completely new approach to creating street art, in particular, street art on fences, but without the use of appliqués and paint cans. The guys "master" exclusively mesh metal fences, and decorate them with pictures made exclusively from … multi-colored plastic cups. The result is something that resembles a mosaic, where each cup is a pixel, only large and on the fence
