Recently, Amsterdam has its own Atlantis. It is located, as befits a sunken civilization, deep … but not under water, but in the underground kingdom of the underground. In such an unusual way, the Amsterdam Public Transport Company decided to diversify the interior of one well-worn trailer, turning it either into a huge aquarium, or into the seabed.
The performers of this original art project are Anneloes van den Bergh and Pauline Teunissen of Million Dollar Design. They presented the passengers with a "company" in the form of outlandish fish, octopuses and shells, and also decorated the walls, floor and ceiling of the trailer with other underwater inhabitants, both real and fabulous.
I would like, of course, to observe the reaction of passengers who, without suspecting anything, "float" into the unusually designed carriage. But from here we can only trust the reviews of the residents of Amsterdam, who believe that such projects not only make our world brighter, and the "living environment" more colorful, but also give a positive mood. And it is never superfluous, especially during rush hours, when sleepy people go on business in the morning and return home tired in the evening.
