Yemen is currently one of the most dangerous and unstable countries in the world. But this does not suit its inhabitants at all, especially the intelligentsia. To combat violence, local singer and human rights activist Murad Sobay founded creative initiative 12th Hour, which resulted in the emergence of several pacifist graffiti on the streets of the capital of the country.
Pacifism and calls for disarmament are a very popular topic in contemporary art. As confirmation of these words can be cited works from the German artist Ole Ukena or the American graphic artist Greg Bokor (Greg Bokor). However, this creative discourse is much more important in countries where street violence and even full-fledged hostilities are part of everyday life, for example, in Yemen.
According to Al Jazeera TV channel, in 2012 Yemen ranked second in the world in terms of the number of firearms per capita. And this is a completely natural result - a civil war has been going on in the country for more than two years, in which everyone is at war with everyone.
Yemeni musician and human rights activist Murad Sobei urges his compatriots to stop this violence and think about the future. He encouraged ordinary Sana'a residents to join his 12th Hour creative initiative and flood the city with pacifist graffiti.
For twelve hours in one day, Sobei and his followers painted twelve street paintings in various places in the capital of Yemen, dedicated to the main problems of this country. We are talking about civil war, street violence, falling education levels, disappearances and much more.
Street paintings, created as part of the 12th Hour creative action, call on society to abandon all types of violence, and also to comprehend the past and present of the country for the sake of its bright future.
Murad Sobay's initiative has generated tremendous public interest both in Yemen itself and in other countries. Therefore, the musician decided to hold similar creative events in the future, making them regular.

The premiere of a film about the adventures of detectives of the fair sex took place twenty years ago. This recipe rarely works, but in the case of "Charlie's Angels" everything worked out
