“I started painting when I was still a child,” says the artist. “At some point, I clearly realized that I can become a pro if I can develop my natural drawing skills. At school, studying the work of Lorenzo Mattotti, I believed that one day I could tell a story through an image."

“In 2001, after graduating from the institute (the artist studied at one of the best design institutes in Milan, the European Institute of Design (Istituto Europeo di Design), I first encountered the need to look for a job. I worked for eight months on a portfolio, and then I started looking for part-time jobs in Italian magazines, I called on job advertisements, went to interviews several times … So, little by little, I got my first clientele … Having found a good employer, we need to look for other options as well. It was a difficult time for me, the artist recalls.

“Everything changed in October 2005. By that time, I had already worked quite a lot with various agencies. I remember that I prepared new illustrations, in which the main attention was focused on the essence of the image, while in execution they were quite simple. I was told that this is no good. Perhaps this was the impetus for me to leave my agents. Since then I have been looking for clients on my own,”says the artist.
