Lovers of geometric abstraction are invited to an exhibition at the Design Museum of the Triennale di Milanos in Milan, where from September 3-19 they will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the Korean artist Sungkuen Lee, who is currently exhibiting his unusual sphere-shaped works there.
The exhibition-show of the Korean artist Sungkuen Lee is held under the name "Human + Love + Light" (Human + Love + Light). A complex title with connotations, which is not entirely clear given that the exhibition features strange geometric elements created from steel wire. Small loops are woven from this material, which, in turn, form geometric structures and spheres of different colors.
Sungkuen Lee's marvelous and incomprehensible installations are very reminiscent of cocoons, clouds, balls, or even organic cells. It all depends on the imagination of the viewer.
