Marc Aspinall, aka The Tree House Press, is a brilliant illustrator from the UK. His works are distinguished by rich textures, excellent color processing and lively dynamism. Mark's style is reminiscent of the work of artists of the mid-twentieth century, the golden age of modern illustration.
Aspinall is an honored professional in his field. Over the years, he has completed numerous commissions (mostly editorial illustrations) for eminent clients such as Monocle, The New York Times and GQ. His illustrations for The New Yorker revolve around contemporary popular culture and can serve as an emblem for everything that Mark does.
Whether he's illustrating an article about the return to TV screens of everyone's favorite Sherlock or the latest work of the Coen brothers, the images are warm, atmospheric and a little old-fashioned in the best sense of the word.
