Polish photographer Dariusz Klimczak - one of the most talented surrealists of our time. His laconic black-and-white photographs give rise to many associations, the artist, violating all the laws of common sense, creates amazing photo manipulations, which can be viewed endlessly.
Most often, in the photographs of Dariusz Klimchak, you can see desert landscapes, deserted spaces attract the author with their mystery. In addition to the desert, three more elements should be attributed to the mandatory attributes of any photograph: people, animals and various architectural forms.
Dariusz Klimchak prefers black and white colors, as he is sure: the abundance of colors only distracts the audience's attention, prevents them from concentrating. In the artist's monochrome worlds, absurdity and illogism reign, but this only makes them more and more attractive. Here trees turn into giraffes, giant telephones rise up in the dunes, and tightrope walkers soar in the air over huge books.
The talented Pole was born in 1967 and has been professionally engaged in photography for almost a quarter of a century. The author himself speaks of his work as follows: "In my works I look for mood, metaphysics, universal symbols that awaken emotions." More works by Dariusz Klimczak can be seen on his personal website.
By the way, on the site Kulturologiya. RF we have already written about the work of surrealist photographers many times. Among lovers of black and white photographs, of course, our compatriot Alexander Gnatenko and Madrid Chem Madoz should be noted.
