The pianist Luka Zatravkin, who is also the son of the famous Russian artist Nikas Safronov, appreciated the proposal of Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, to set the weight norm for ordinary Russians to 80 kg, and for officials - 100 kg.
Zatravkin himself is obese - today his weight has reached 250 kg. But he agreed that there is truth in Zhirinovsky's words. But at the same time, Zatravkin stressed that the state in this matter should choose the path of helping citizens, and not the path of restrictions.
The musician said that in Japan, for example, if there are special services whose task is to stimulate citizens to maintain themselves in the weight standards recommended by doctors. For example, those of their citizens who are in good shape pay less insurance and have certain benefits. Those who are overweight are sent for free massage, yoga, and even pay for stomach truncation surgery.
Zatravkin could not resist and joked that, it seems, Zhirinovsky knows from his own experience how "his excess weight is burdensome for the shoulders of the state."
Recall that Luka Zatravkin became known to a wide circle at the end of 2019 and not at all for musical reasons. The musician just got into an absurd situation - he got stuck in the toilet of the Kazan-Moscow plane. The incident was caught on video, and the musician could be heard shouting: "I will not die in the toilet!"
But the misadventures of the pianist did not end there. In September 2020, the musician was vacationing in Turkey and at the hotel he managed to jump into the children's pool by mistake. He hurt his knees and broke the pool. And on vacation in Thailand, Zatravkin fell down the stairs and ended up in a local hospital.
