And Walt Disney is rightfully considered the king of happy ends, romantic endings with princes and princesses. Photographer of Polish origin Thomas Czarnecki, either out of harm, or for a change, suggested how all these cartoons could end differently, in particular, what kind of ending in these alternative cartoons awaits the beautiful princesses. From Enchantment to Down - this is the name of the experimental series of photographs. For the experiment, the photo artist took the most popular cartoons from the Walt Disney studio, and presented their charming characters not in those sweet and cute plots, as we are used to, but on the contrary, in dark and brutal, sometimes even disgusting and repulsive images. charm comes disappointment with sugary plots and stereotyped images.
In Tomasz Czarnecki's photographs, sweet and kind princesses look like drooping and drooping women with the remnants of their former beauty and luxury. Little Red Riding Hood is addicted to a bottle, Sleeping Beauty spends her nights on a dirty mattress in some abandoned kennel, and Alice and the White Rabbit seem to have become victims of kidnapping and are about to say goodbye to their lives.
