Previously, he served as Artistic Director of the American Repertory Ballet (Princeton, NJ, USA) from 1993 to 1999. In addition, Webre served as artistic director for Halcyon, a Washington, D. C. foundation that launched the annual Washington D. C. international art festival in June 2018.
